Opened in Chicago’s evolving Lakeview neighborhood at 2873 North Broadway in August 2012, Senza offers an elegant yet casual fine dining experience that features innovative modern American cuisine by executive chef Noah Sandoval (Schwa, Spring). Taking familiar ingredients and integrating both avant-garde and classic techniques, chef Sandoval creates composed as well as approachable four or nine-course tasting menus that reflect a range of flavors and textures. Each dining experience can be paired with distinctive small production wines or cocktails with food oriented flavors crafted by chef-turned-spirits expert Chris Voccia (Custom House) and front-of-house manager Cara Sandoval.
In the mornings, Senza transforms into the unique Wheat's End Café serving coffee from Bridgeport Coffee Company and gluten-free baked goods from Wheat's End Artisan Foods, which is owned and operated by Senza owners, Susan McMillan and Amelia Fonti. Inspired by the simplicity and sophistication of an upscale outdoor European café, the intimate 48-seat space transitions seamlessly from day to night.
